Photography Workshops - 2008

Now officially in its second year of operation, the Infinity Workshops, presented by Mark Griffith and Huntington Witherill, will continue to feature photographic field seminars in some of the country’s most spectacular locations. Due to the overwhelming response and popularity of the 2006 Oregon Coast Workshop (held by Griffith and Witherill through the original Black and White Photographic Workshop program) this year’s Infinity offering will once again be held along the Northern California and Oregon Coastlines. The 2008 Oregon Coast Workshop (Sept. 15-19, 2008) will be a five-day field workshop located within the Northern California Redwood Forests and along the magnificent Oregon Coastline.  For more information, go to www.infinityworkshops.com.

Mark Griffith started the Black and White Photographic Workshop series 15 years ago.  He is offering private instruction all year long for traditional black and white film and paper users.  If you are interested in learning the Zone System for exposing and processing black and white film or want to improve your black and white printing skills you can work with Mark one-on-one in his darkroom in Seattle.  You can also book private instruction time to go out into the field to photograph with Mark where he can help you with composition and the implementation of the Zone System.  Individuals and groups up to 4 people will be taken.  For more information, go to www.bwphotoworkshops.com.

Black and White Silver Print Prices - 2008

8”x10” or smaller contact print - $350.00

16”x20” enlargement - $600.00

20”x24” enlargement - $800.00

All black and white prints are hand printed by J. Mark Griffith on traditional silver paper and processed for long term archival permanence.  The contact prints are all printed from 8”x10” negatives and are cropped as needed for each particular image.  The enlargements are not exactly the sizes listed, but are printed and cropped as needed for each particular image.  All prints are mounted on white museum board and come with a matched cut overmat.
